Happy Monday all! We’re stoked to be back with episode 20 of the podcast, chatting all things Star Wars!
We’re coming out of the gate with a contest for you! Listen in for details, but needless to say, if you’re a fan of Star Wars music, and would love to see the music from The Force Awakens performed live, we’ve got an amazing prize for you! Here’s the deal: head over to iTunes, and butter us up with a sweet review, then send the text of that review (or a screenshot) to email@example.com and you’re in to win! We’ll announce the winner on the May 30th episode of the podcast so make sure to subscribe so that you don’t miss a thing!
In this week’s show we talk about a metric ton of Star Wars stuff, including J.J. Abrams’ recent comments about Rey’s parents, an actor being cast for Darth Vader in Rogue One, Alexandre Desplat’s role in the future of Star Wars music, whether or not Rey is a Jedi, Peter Mayhew’s recent revelation about Obi-Wan’s original fate, and a ton more. We get crazy and talk about who’s more delicious – Ackbar or the Gammorrean Guards? Tough one! We also discuss whether or not you’d rather own a functioning lightsaber or the Millennium Falcon, and we kick things off with a chat about the controversial Batman v Superman.
If you liked what you heard on the show, then please subscribe in iTunes (remember that contest!), and be sure to leave us a review! Connect with us via the facebook and you can always follow along on twitter if that’s your preference. We’re also on Stitcher or wherever else you like to grab your podcasts from. Lastly, if you like the music on the show, please be sure to check out Marcos Kaiser, and new this week on the show – Carlos Candido! His amazing sounds can be found here! I also sat in on an episode of his podcast to nerd out about Star Wars that you can find here.
As always, if you have questions for us, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or drop a comment below, we always make it a point to answer back anybody who takes time out to contact us!
